Character Bio

First introduced in the Prelude series, she's one of the older orphans, like Bobby. Before the arrival of Paige she was the only female orphan. Vi attended public school in earnest with hopes of some day using the knowledge gained to escape her poverty stricken childhood. She seems to have an interest in school sports and can be seen in an art print with a pair of gloves known to be used in Fallguard. Capable of construction and repair jobs, she has carved out a job working as a carpenter for Grunn's Orphanage during the events in the prelude comic series. It is a job that never sees shortage of work given the deteriorating conditions not helped by Mace's often destructive pranks. She gets along reasonably well with Mace, Whip and company and keeps their best interests in mind; however it does not stop her from pursuing her own goals.

Despite Viriathus' tomboy like demeanor and apparent disgust of fashion and femininity, she secretly frets over her physical appearance and clothes. She is particularity frustrated with the growth of cleavage. Her dream up to the events thus far in the prelude series was to become a fashion designer, inspired by the success of Tinsel Nanaja, a dream that the events of the graphic novel series suggests may not have been realized in given her position as a lieutenant and her otherwise military paraphernalia she is often seen in.

Viriathus' Power

Although it has yet to be seen in graphic novel series, Viriathus' power has been confirmed to be extraordinary strength. This seemingly allows her to wield her weapon of choice, a large springer traditionally found mounted on vehicles and fortified positions.

Her strength allows her to carry the weapon and compensate for its immense recoil which would render other gunners unable to properly aim when held without proper support from a tripod or mount. This power would no doubt apply to any melee fighting that would occur, giving Vi another advantage along with her exceptional dexterity in close quarter brawling.
