Prelude #379

Pike is a muscular, schizophrenic thug working alongside Anise, who is now the owner of the whorehouse she once worked for.

Appearance

Pike seems to slightly resemble a manta ray, judging by the skin that stretches out from his back and around his shoulders like manta fins. He has dark grey skin with pink and aqua tattoos on his head and arms. He has yellow eyes with orange irises and no hair to speak of. He has been seen wearing a black, backless tank top and olive green cargo shorts.

Personality

Like many characters in the series, Pike shows signs of mental instability. While shown to be somewhat calm in his very first appearance, following appearances show him to commit loud outbursts, unprovoked attacks, and grammatically incorrect language. It is not yet known why he exhibits these violent tendencies.

History

Prelude

One day, while Bobby is attempting to get inside Willy's, Willy himself is thrown out the front door by Pike. Willy screams and argues with Pike, as Pike tells him that he no longer owns the business.

Sometime later, after Bobby managed to sneak in and speak with Anise, Pike realized that there could be trouble and stormed into Anise's office, knocking Bobby off his feet. As Pike makes a comment about Bobby's lack of whorehouse quality, he delivers a punch to Bobby's face while he is still down. Bobby angrily refuses to leave, prompting Pike to beat him.

Later on, Anise and Pike watch from outside of Willy's as Bobby walks down the road. Pike then threatens Anise about being late on payments, to which Anise claims she can handle it. Then, she offers him a sucker, which he excitedly accepts.

Trivia

  • Judging from his various neon-bright tattoos and statements said about people he is involved with, Pike could be a member of the Neon Knives street clan. Since Anise appears to owe money to the people that Pike works for, it is possible that the gang deals in loan sharking. This, of course, is purely speculation.
  • He is the fourth character in the franchise to be named after a weapon or sharp tool. His name is also a type of fish.
