"Illegitimate daughter of the Viscount, Namah's life locked in shadow is mercifully disrupted. Carefree adventure awaits- or, at least, it would if Lilith and Mace would stop groping for terminally stupid solutions."

- From the Cast page of the Dreamkeepers website.

Namah Calah is one of the main protagonists in Dreamkeepers, who lives in Sabbaton Towers as one of the two daughters of a well-known politician.

Appearance[]

NamahSwatch

Namah's swatch art.

Namah's design is probably inspired on gecko, due to her ability to climb walls easily, as mostly demonstrated in the prelude (given her mischievous nature she can also come off as like a demon or imp given her horns and how the tip of her tail is shaped). She pink skin, straight dark horns, a long tail which ends in a diamond form, three digit feet and green eyes. She has dark violet mark on her face, near her eyes. She has mid short hair, that reach her shoulders or a little higher. She also wears stripped leg warmers that were given to her by Lilith when she was little.

As a child, she is mostly seen wearing a large black t-shirt that goes just past her knees, light-gray shorts and stockings on her arms and legs. Her first pair would be green and white, but later received red-stripped ones that she would continue wearing as she got older.

Personality[]

Namah is mostly known for being very mischievous and often rebellious, as well as having a fascination for trouble, having stemmed from her childhood as a result of being confined in her room most of her life. She has a habit of escaping her room many times just so she can see what she considers the outside world. This sort of behavior has also shown has resourceful she can be as even after being caught, she'll generally find another way to get out again. This puts her at odds with the Tower Guards (Woods, Bill and Damon especially), as well as her nanny Ms. Muliebral, who are usually assigned to keep her in her room as she will often pull pranks on them as a means of torture, be it physical or psychological. As she grew older she got to a point where she can sneak in and out with no detection just to accommodate herself or her pet, Cuddles, who she calls Vincent despite her sister's insistence.

Ironically, while she is usually the one causing the most trouble, karma tends to pop up and cause her suffering. Whether it be the vents that she crawled through being sealed after being lured away from her room long enough, her getting a rock thrown at her while another was helping fight someone, or when she tries to get the attention of someone she likes and something goes wrong. In that case she's shown her crush for Bast after reaching the outskirts of Anduruna, only to trip over a large plant.

During most of her childhood, Namah didn't have an education like her sister did; instead she mostly relied on television to learn about everything she knows, even gaining a fascination with one particular talk-show host who is known to speaking controversial topics and would even visit him to try and spill dirt on her father. It wasn't until Lilith convinced their father to give her an education and they started by trying to have a strict tutor teach her but to no avail. During her teenager years she started attending a public school, which appears to be one of the only times where she was even allowed outside the tower.

As another result of being confined to her room, Namah grew to hate her father and is not afraid to show it. As a child she wouldn't understand why until eventually learning about him having an affair with Tinsel (who she also grows to despise overtime) over Lilith's mother and felt that he only cared enough of his own political image over her own existence. In the past she did what she could to try and earn his love (during the Dreamworld's equivalent of Christmas she tried to open a vent to let snow in) but something would go wrong and only got her more in trouble. The continued disconnect can be contributed further by her otherwise wild behavior, past or present.

The only person Namah seems to show great care for is her sister, Lilith. Because Lilith is free to roam where-ever she wants she will often visit her to talk or even read to her, since Namah had little in the way of education. Lilith is able to tolerate Namah's wild behavior to a point and while later on, after growing older and once the Nightmare and Dark Dreamkeeper issues started affecting them, they would come to disagree each other's methods. Regardless she still loves her sister and would put her life on the line to defend her. Like Namah, she knows who Igrath is and what had happened with him yet still sees him as another person who cares deeply for her.

Strangely, Namah was found to have kitchen knives in her room as a child. While at one point she snuck into the kitchen to prank the Tower Guards, it's unclear why she took them or what they signify; whether she secretly has suicidal thoughts or other intentions that may involve her other habits.

Past[]

Namah was born years before the events of the Prelude and long before the events of the main story. Due to her father wanting to keep her birth a secret she had her isolated from the rest of the world so that no one but a few selected individuals would know so that it doesn't tarnish his reputation.

Prelude[]

LilithNamahPrelude37

No school for Namah.

One day, very early in the morning, Namah snuck into Lilith's room to 'play' in her own way as she wanted, which woke her up five minutes earlier than she wanted. As Lilith prepped for school, Namah learned that their father didn't quite say yes or no on letting her go to school, leaving her disappointed and wanting to learn more about the nasty girls in school.

Later, she was caught by Woods while trying to say her father was letting her go to school. He tried to explain that he was only doing his job and didn't want to be fired, but Namah expressed her disappointing life versus his. She took her frustration out on Gregori, her monster doll, and decided to end her life but not before leaving a note behind. Having sealed up the windows to try and suffocate herself, she waited on her bed but wondered why it wasn't working. She soon discovered a breeze coming from the wall and she uncovered an air vent behind the wallpaper. Failing to open it with Gregori, she asked Bill if she could use some tools, but he told her she wasn't allowed to have any. Finally she decided to use her horns to pry open the vent cover and was able to escape.

Traveling through the vents, she noticed how dusty it was in there and decided to drop a clump of dust on her father, only it landed on Muliebral instead. This got her attention and Woods and Bill were sent after her. Sneaking into the kitchen she grabbed some condiments to use on her pursuers until eventually she was caught, long after her father found out of her disappearance. Until her room could be repaired, she was placed in Lilith's room.

When Lilith got home, she asked why Namah was tied to the bed and she replied by telling her about her day. As night-time fell, Lilith would read to her while Namah admitted she liked rooming with her and wouldn't mind staying with her longer and that it was better that she read to her. Lilith reminded her that once her room is fixed she might not be able to sneak out anymore, though Namah doubts it.

At a later point in time, Namah was allowed to spend part of her vacation in Lilith's room, much to her dismay as her dolls were terrorized by her overactive sister, while her own room was being repaired and reinforced. Muliebral arrived to take her to a surprise location in which Namah eventually took up. Along the way, the two argued about her behavior and if she toned it down she would be allowed out more often. Namah would even try outrunning her after inquiring that Muliebral could not run, but was stopped by Bill and Woods and was forced to continue the tour.

Arriving in the private garden, Namah was entranced by what she saw. Having been mostly confined her whole life and having little freedom, to see this much around her filled her with curiosity of what she may discover. Dragging Bill along, they explored the garden to have a mock hunt. She decided to disappear from Bill's site, and even trapped him under a tree before taking his shoes to throw at Woods.

While Woods and Muliebral were searching for her, Namah was staring intently at a lonely flower she found tucked away in the bushes. Annoyed by the constant cries for her, she plucked the flower from the ground and after failing to summon her "forbidden power" she returns to them. Refusing to actually leave the garden though, Muliebral warned her that if she didn't come they would call security, she wouldn't be allowed in the garden anymore and she would miss one of her favorite scrollcast shows; while Woods added that he would read her the Viscount's press releases to her very loudly every day and that was enough to get her to cooperate.

Taking her to the recreation room, Muliebral set her up with some snacks and tried to ask where Bill was, to no avail. Lilith later arrived with her Presentation Wagon and joined her in watching some programs. Not wanting to listen to the news, she reluctantly listened to Lilith's presentation about her new tutor, though mostly ignored it. Namah ended up disappointed that school wasn't like what she hoped and explained what she would have done in school. Bringing up the topic of others calling one "ugly", like why she thinks their father doesn't let her out of her room, Lilith began to question herself again.

Later, Damon escorted the two back to their respective rooms, with Namah being allowed to play a flying game with him as he carried her to her room. Upon entering her room, she expressed disappointment that it looked no different than last time, only to learn too late that the door now has a lock and a bell to call for assistance; and unable to escape through the reinforced air vent, she threatened to harm Damon with her cutlery but found it gone.

Once Woods took over, she got a bit more rambunctious, and before long Lilith returned to visit. As Lilith tried telling her more about private schooling, Namah daydreamed about the two of them battling together until it was time for her to leave. With one last attempt to escape, Namah was forced into her room, and she told him how angry she was for the treatment they gave her despite her best cooperation and despite his warnings of possible tighter security. Refusing dinner from Muliebral, she decided to stay up all night to torment Woods.

The next day, Muliebral arrived and placed her in bed before trying to serve her breakfast. However as Namah didn't forget about yesterday, she ended up throwing it at her and went back to sleep. When she woke up, she was surprised to see someone new standing in her room. She asked who she was and how she got in, even asking what the outside world was like. The lady, introducing herself as Ms. Crimp, merely told her that she was going to be her tutor and she would soon be giving her standardized tests. Namah tried to reason with her wanting to sleep in but Crimp was insistent they would begin class whether she liked it or not. However Namah decided to use the excuse of needing to use the restroom her chance to at least get away from her for a short time. While in the restroom she started to cause a mess before falling asleep in the bath rub, and soon Muliebral was called in to return her to her room.

When Namah woke up, she found her room has been changed into like a classroom and Crimp said she would have her act like she would in her classroom. Ignoring Namah's own life problems, she began the lesson of teaching her the alphabet. She repeatedly asked Namah to say the letter "A" and after what would have been an hour, Namah gave in and started to list the names of things that started with each letter from A through G, though Crimp wanted her to continue past "H". During the third hour she had to get Woods and Damon to restrain her while she tried getting her to learn that particular letter.

Through the fourth hour, Crimp gave Namah her first written test and at that point Namah wanted to know what it would take to get her to leave. Crimp replied that as her tutor, she would return day after day until she not only learned standardized facts but to obey. As she got her to try and do a math problem, Namah has a sudden realization that it was time for her favorite program, The Joys of Painting with Rick Zinger. Unable to let her leave, Crimp told her that entertainment would only cause delinquency and that 'she' was her favorite program now. This caused Namah to resort to throwing a tantrum; starting with her on the ceiling, to to stealing her disciplinary wand, and then finally to ripping out her own hair, eating and spitting it out and sticking it all over her face. Finally deciding that she wasn't needed here for the boiling point of the tantrum, Crimp left the room using a key card she was given to unlock the door. Namah threw Gregori at her as she was leaving and broke down, thinking her life was over now but then noticed that Gregori kept the door open just enough to let her escape.

Thinking of what Rick Zinger would say, she tried finding all possible doors but found nothing usable. She then noticed some politicians walking by heading to what she thought was the elevator. Cutting in line, she reached the door leading into her father's office and told everyone she was going to escape. Once she entered the room she came face to face with her father, who was just as shocked to see her. He nervously asked how she got in here and if anyone saw her, but Namah was more surprised that he was more concerned of her even being known by anyone than even her own existence. She decided to blackmail him into giving her things or else she'd reveal the truth to everyone outside, while he tried to convince her that he keeps her in her room because he loved her. Namah had enough and decided to yell out into the hallway who she was, only for Bill, Woods and Damon to be the only ones to hear it.

With the door into the office locked, Namah banged on the door and yelled for her father to die. She went on a rampage as they tried subduing her. They manage to catch her, though she ends up wounding Bill in the process. Having returned to her room, Lilith would return where she exclaimed at Namah having blood on her horns. Namah cried she had a bad day and that school wasn't like she wanted. Lilith gave her some leg warmers she got while at the mall, which she put on her horns before learning what they were. That night she wrote on her made-up map of the floor, believing she was one-step closer to plotting her true escape.

On the day of Lilith's Birthday, Damon and Woods rushed into her room thinking she had escaped again, but she was sitting by the window holding Gregori by a stick. She learned shortly after that Lilith went missing and they were looking for her, and they decide to ask her for help. She offered to help them in exchange for something. Damon suggested she help because she was a good kid but Woods slapped him, saying they'll give her stuff instead, causing him to glare at him. As she stated she wanted time in the pool and garden, Muliebral came with a harness and leash to put on her so she wouldn't run off on them. They pass by some damaged artwork which Namah deduces was caused by Tinsel.

They soon track down Lilith, who was reading in the library, where Namah expressed major concern for her sister and even told her what happened with Tinsel. Lilith explained she didn't want to talk about what happened and just wanted some time alone. Namah agreed to it but asked her to return to her room since everyone was worried and thought it was her who escaped that time. In the process, she transferred her harness to her and escaped through the narrow space between the bookshelves.

Namah snuck through the halls whilst imagining bad things happening to Damon and Woods and soon found her way to the lobby where Bill and the elevator were. She threw a Book of Puns at him; and after avoiding his attempts to grab her, she stole his hat and played a game where they had to talk to each other with puns but after one from Bill she found him awful at it. Reaching the elevator she tried several times to get it to move, but Bill, knowing that she would need an I.D. card to operate it, told her that it was fruitless as she would need his permission. She demanded him to release her but he countered by making up that he could have spikes come from the floor. Deciding to listen to a possible negotiation, Namah returned his hat and they went into the break room. She wanted to have an arm cannon on her but more or less a pretend one, using the coffee that he said was poison. As one last addition she wanted to have orange sherbert, which she loved but made a big mess with one time, and he accepted it. With that, he returned her to her room under the condition that she only rush the elevator lobby while Woods is around and that Bill overpowered her before.

Later, Lilith ran in while Namah ate some orange sherbert. Taking the crayons Lilith brought from her therapists, she then gave her a book she made her for her birthday. Lilith was moved to tears and she hugged her out of appreciation. Having eaten too much sherbert, she lied in her bed with a stomach ache as Woods came in to tell them that he was switching with Damon. Before he left, she told him that Bill caught her in a cool manner.

Not long after, Damon came in with a box for Lilith, which Namah thought was meant to stuff herself in. As it would turn out, the box contained two Ryuu-Nekos that leapt out at Lilith, sending Namah into a panic.

In-Between[]

At some point, the security needed for Namah would decrease to where they no longer needed to keep her door locked at all times. She would also no longer need Crimp as her tutor and, possibly as a result of Lilith volunteering at the Margate District Learning Center, be allowed to start regular classes outside the tower. She was still expected to remain in her room and guards would still be posted to ensure she complied.

Volume 1[]

Chapter 2[]

In her first appearance in the main story, Namah stands with her sister, Lilith, and watches a fight between Mace, Whip and Bast. She is amused while her sister is shocked. Later that day, she meets Mace and Whipe personally in the school ventilation system. She wanted to know what it was that Mace did the previous year when he mentioned it to Whip. Introducing herself, she lead the two into the security room where she showed them how she was spying on the two. She took notes in her journal as the two began messing around with the newly installed guns that were in the detention room and shot laughing gas at Mr. Nibbs. Despite saying they were going to be in trouble, she admitted she had fun watching the two and hoped they would see each other again. She would walk out the office door while Mace and Whip snuck back into the vents.

Chapter 3[]

Later that night, Namah is using her data-scroll in her room when Cuddles, hers and Lilith's ryuu-neko, slinks over the data-scroll and into her lap. Namah comments how that would have resulted in his death if he wasn't so cute. After a brief stretch, she suspects Cuddles wants a treat. Picking him up, she peeks out her door to see two security guards she was not familiar with. Taking a small metal object, she flings it out the door and hits a vase. As it falls to the floor, getting the guards' attention, she runs out the door with Cuddles.

Walking along the outer wing of the Towers, she runs up a pillar to the ceiling as a guard passes by. Jumping back down, she looks up to a massive portrait of her father and Lilith. She gives a bitter comment to the picture meant for her father as Cuddles looks at her worriedly.

Later, in her father's private bar, Namah pours a substance on her fingers, allowing Cuddles to eat from her hand. Suddenly, she spins around at the sound of a door being slammed open, seeing Ravat entering. Namah hides under the counter as Ravat carelessly grabs a bottle of fermentae and drinks from it. Nearby, Tinsel emerges from a room in a bath robe. Namah listens as they both go over a job Ravat did for Tinsel, how he would be paid for it and how they would dispose of Wisp. Deciding she had heard enough, Namah, with Cuddles, snuck into a nearby vent.

The next morning, Namah sits in Liltih's room, explaining what she had heard to her sister. Lilith turns on the data-scroll as they talk about how to explain the ordeal to their father, then pause to watch a news update about the murder of a young orphan named Paige with Mace being accused for the murder. Namah could not believe Mace could have done such a thing, then has to endure a brief lecture by Lilith about skipping out of class. When Lilith looks closely at the scroll footage and realizes Mace didn't do it, Namah asks what she saw, but Cuddles hissed at the door. After Namah reminds Liltih that his name was "Vincent", Lilith decides they should speak to their father about Tinsel now.

Namah expresses disappointment as they enter the meeting chamber and approach the Viscount's office. Before Lilith could open the door, Tinsel grabs Lilith with her hair from above. Jumping down, Tinsel tells Namah she should have stayed in her room as she slashes away at Lilith's body with her Power. Namah attempts to stop her, but Tinsel sends her flying into a nearby fountain. Namah stands up and challenges Tinsel, who intensified her Power and attacked. Namah skillfully dodged Tinsel's attacks before running straight at her, much to Tinsel's shock. However, Tinsel simply kicks Namah in the face, knocking her out momentarily. As Tinsel toys with Lilith and prepares to kill her, Namah wakes up in time to awaken her Power and shoves Tinsel into the ceiling with a pair of energy tendrils. Namah looks in shock at the Power flowing from her fingertips, then turns her attention to an enraged Tinsel. Countering Tinsel's Power with her own, she nearly impales Tinsel with an energy attack. After only s short time, Namah became weak from the use and fell into Lilith's arms. Before Tinsel could finish them off, a piece of the ceiling falls and creates a dust cloud, allowing the sisters to get away.

Later, on the Sabbaton Towers telepad station, Namah leads her injured sister to the Kojiki District pad with Cuddles following closely.

Later in the afternoon, Namah and Lilith arrive at their uncle Igrath's house, where he, Scinter, Grunn, Mace, and Whip were hiding out. As Igrath helps Lilith to a couch, Namah tells him about Tinsel and Ravat's murder conspiracy and how Tinsel tried to kill them. Igrath insisted to his friends that he was going to help his nieces, so Namah placed bandages on herself while Igrath and Scinter helped Lilith with her more serious wounds.

That night, Namah falls asleep with her sister and eventual friends.

Volume 2[]

Chapter 4[]

The next morning, Namah is suddenly awakened by Igrath grabbing her and her sister. After Igrath teleports them away on a telepad in his basement, Namah sarcastically wishes him a good morning. As Namah inspects the castle-like structure with her friends, she looks to Whip who appeared with some coats he found. Bundling up, the group walk through the fortress until they found an exit, which led out onto the peaks of Starfall Mountains. After Lilith saves Mace from stumbling off the balcony, Namah slyly comments on Mace's clumsiness as he and Lilith lay in a pile. As they all look out towards Anduruna in the distance, Namah begins giving playful glances at Whip, who looked back nervously. Leaning in to his face, she tells him she's famished, then pulls him back into the fortress by his tail.

Inside, she rummages through a bunch of crates for some supplies as Whip protests the idea of being eaten. Telling him he should stop being so cute in order not to quicken his death, she leads him back to the outside balcony with her supplies.

Outside, the group sat together, eating a quick meal while discussing what they knew about their recent misfortunes and how they connect. Despite Namah claiming they should stay and make the fortress their home, Lilith promptly decides they should head back for the city. Together, they walk off the balcony onto the nearby slopes.

Later, while walking down the slopes, Namah brings up that she tried to use her Power at some point after using it on Tinsel. Before Lilith could probe her about it, they turn around to see a Nightmare ridden by Wisp emerging from the snow. Namah blurts out the word 'figures' as the Nightmare and Wisp attack.

Chapter 5[]

As Mace knocks Lilith out of the way of the Nightmare, they and Namah begin sliding down the slope uncontrollably. Namah warns them of an incoming cliff as they all fall off into a lake below with an avalanche falling in and around them. Stuck in the air pocket, Mace digs them a way out as Wisp and the Nightmare catch up. Following Mace out, Namah jumps off into an inverted tree while Mace and Lilith hesitated.

Sliding down a ridge from the tree, Namah lands in a hot spring as Wisp caught up and attacked. As Mace landed in the water with them, he picks up a rock and throws at Wisp, but it phases through her head and hits Namah instead. Stunned by the rock, Namah falls into the water and tries to fend off three Wisp copies. Namah asked if she was the one Tinsel and Ravat were planning to murder, which prompted Wisp to stop her attack and yell at her. Moments later, as Wisp starts babbling about being hungry, an air geyser erupts, sending her and her copies into the sky. as the geyser subsides, Lilith appeared in the water, looking surprised. With the Nightmare stuck in the tree above them, Namah suggested they keep moving.

Later, climbing down a cliff, Namah sarcastically berates Mace for the rock he threw earlier. Threatening not to retaliate until he least expected it, the group reach the forest below. As Lilith and Mace went on about the Nightmares, Namah searched the area for something. Then, she noticed a trilfrog sitting close by. As Namah rejoined her friends, she shoves the trilfrog into Mace's jacket and pushes him to the ground, completing her revenge for the rock.

Sometime later, Mace nervously claims Whip needed to relieve himself and ran off with Whip following. Namah and Lilith decide to rest on a stump and munch on a snack. Minutes later, they hear Mace yelling in the distance. As Namah contemplates what they could be doing, Mace and Whip run out of the woods, telling them that "Smiley" was coming. Gathering their things, they all run just as Smiley emerged from the trees.

Chapter 6[]

The group rusn into an inverted tree for cover. Smiley rips the tree off its stump and sticks its head in the open bottom. The teens hang on to the leaves inside as Smiley flings them around, trying to free them. Namah watches in fear as Lilith loses her grip and falls into Smiley's mouth, being swallowed whole. Smiley throws the tree down a ridge with the others still inside. Groggily getting out of the tree, Namah and Mace follow Whip up the hill. They reach the top to see Lilith had killed Smiley and all surrounding plant life in the area with her Power. They rush over to her as she suddenly passes out.

Later that day, Namah stands guard while Lilith bathes under a waterfall in a lake. After Namah attempts to shoo Mace away, she lets him sit next to her as they talk about their new friendship and what they should do about shelter for the night. Moments later, Namah reaches into the lake water and pulls out Whip, who was peeping in on Lilith. After giving him a cannibalistic warning, she lets him go.

That night, the group finds a large tree to sleep in for the night. Namah comments on Mace's home sounding like a magical place, but as the conversation becomes personal, the group decide to turn in for the night.

Volume 3[]

Chapter 7[]

The next morning, Namah grumpily wakes up to see Cuddles embracing Lilith, annoyed that he was responding to Lilith's name instead of hers. As she climbs down the tree with Lilith, she spots Bast and silently becomes fixated on him, observing his tail. Lilith decides they should follow Bast back to the city, so Namah closely follows him through the woods.

Sometime later, as the group is passing through a farmer's yorp pen, Namah talks to herself about Bast. Catching up to him, she shyly attempts to introduce herself, but is suddenly tackled to the muddy ground by a startled yorp. Lilith tries to help her up, but Namah angrily pushes away and rubs the mud out of her hair. Enraged, she runs over and kicks the yorp, then expresses great relief afterwards. She then softly scolds Cuddles when he mimics her behavior by biting another yorp. After the farmer shows up and gives Lilith his data-scroll, they decide to keep moving to the city.

After Bast leads them into a mine shaft going under the city, Namah attempts to referee a fight between Mace and Bast, but Lilith prevents it. As they make their way into a sewer and an abandoned building in the city, Namah watches as Lilith stops another fight and convinces not to anymore. Leaving the boys alone in the building, Namah and Lilith walk to the street. A news report later that night would show Namah heavily resisting arrest with two officers while Liltih had peacefully surrendered.

Later that day, Namah and Lilith sit with their father in his office. As he disbelieves their claims about Tinsel, Namah bitterly suggests she be arrested anyway. As Lilith continues to explain, Tinsel herself barges in and puts on an act of innocence. Namah comments on what Tinsel had said to them about their father during their fight. When Tinsel denies her claims, she kneels down to scold Lilith, only for Namah to kick her square in the jaw. Namah carries on, trying to convince her father that they would be dead because of Tinsel, but Calah would not listen. Namah and Lilith look on as Calah embraces Tinsel.

Being escorted by a guard named Stiletto, Lilith tells her off so she and Namah could talk. Namah sarcastically accepts defeat while claiming they needed a plan. Namah would look to her sister as Lilith expresses concern about the Nightmare threat.

Chapter 8[]

Later, in their rooms, Namah communicates with Lilith thorugh their data-scrolls with broken grammar, claiming it was part of the escape plan she had been waiting her whole life to use. Shoving a duffel bag of supplies through the vent leading to Lilith's room, Namah tells Lilith to be "convincing" with the guards outside. As Lilith gets the guards' attention, Namah cackles as she rips the grating out of her air vent. As the guards enter her room, she swiftly attacks them while Lilith closes the door and locks it. Speaking sinister phrases to the guards inside, Lilith runs off.

Minutes later, Namah appears from the air vent in the Viscount level kitchen. She then claimed she would start a fire after saying how much she would miss it.

As the fire alarms went off, Namah bursts from a door into the main lobby with a foam gun she took from the other guards, blasting Stiletto as she drew her own gun on Lilith. Glaring maniacally at the disabled Stiletto, Namah laughs as she empties her gun, then composes herself as Lilith gives her a key card. Using the card, she enters one of the elevators then, once again, blurts out the word 'figures' as Stiletto activates her Power and flings an energy blast at Lilith's elevator, but the doors had already closed.

Chapter 9[]

Later that day, Namah sneaks into the Central City News studio and walks into the office of Boore, a scrollcast personality. As he tries to get her to leave, Namah insists on showing him a file folder full of information she had on people from the Viscount level during her time there.

As Namah finishes going over her file, she attempts to present it, but Boore desperately asks her to leave while explaining that presenting her story as is was not his job. After claiming how much of a fan she was and knowing what he does, Boore explains how fake and artificial his job is. Disappointed, Namah says her goodbyes, dropping her file into a trash can on the way out.

Later that night, Namah communicates with Mace, Whip and Bast via data-scroll, who were still outside of Sabbaton. Telling the boys of Lilith's plan to find the Lost Archives, she insists that they find a way into the Towers to regroup.

Volume 4[]

Chapter 10[]

The next day, Namah breaks into a storage room using her horns while Lilith looked around. As they entered, Liltih asked Namah to look around for supplies they could use in the caves below Sabbaton. Namah incredulously disagrees with the plan, saying they should go meet up with Igrath. Despite Lilith's insistence, Namah begins taking the procured supplies out of their bag, claiming they should let Mr. Peaks find the Nightmare information for them while they hide out with Igrath. However, Lilith suspects that Igrath might be dead and they could have a chance to solve the Nightmare threat. Deciding to go along with Lilith's plan, Namah claims she would go where Lilith goes and that this would let her make fire.

Later, in the Sabbaton foundation, the sisters meet up with the boys. As Namah comments Mace on his simple disguise, Bast brings their attention to a security team. Lilith then leads the group off the path, into the rocky terrain and to a lake adorned by ancient statues. As the group wades into the lake, they take cover behind the statues as a security guard passes by. Hearing the guard send in a report on his radio, Namah declares they needed to disappear. Just then, Whip emerges from the water, seeing a cave that Lilith's starsuid was in. As the guard arrives, the group dives in and re-emerges in the cave. Cuddles, inside the bag Namah was carrying, began crying out, but Namah punches the bag to silence him. While mocking his cries by pretending to cough, Namah listens as Lilith gives the group instructions on how to proceed through the narrow cave. After Lilith gives a worried expression to Bast after asking her about her instructions, Namah proclaimed it was too late to turn back. Together, they crawled deeper into the cave.

Chapter 11[]

Sometime later, the group stops to rest on a cliff overlooking a huge cavern. Seeing no easy way down, Lilith suggests they throw their duffel bags down so they can climb. Knowing Cuddles was in her bag, Namah promptly disagrees with the plan and suggests they use their Powers to find a way down instead. Namah and Lilith argue over the legality of Power use as Bast and Mace gave their input to the idea. As the group went silent, Namah slapped a hand to her face as Mace opened her bag and got bitten on the ear by a petrified Cuddles. Lilith then lectured Namah for bringing Cuddles with them as she freed him from Mace's ear. But, Namah roughly took Cuddles from her and yelled at her for bringing them into the caves instead of going to Igrath where it was safe. Namah watched as Lilith walked away, stunned, while offering to find a way down.

Namah and others followed Lilith as she told them how Tendril killed Mr. Peaks because of her. After Namah showed surprise, she looked out into the cavern and pointed at a Nightmare. It was Tendril himself, who appeared and delivered a deadly strike to Lilith's torso. In response, Namah and Bast summoned their Powers and attacked, sending Tendril into retreat. Namah goes into a panic as Lilith and Bast fall into the cavern. As Whip files down to them and returns to give their status, Namah, Mace, and Whip run along the cliff towards the bottom of the cavern.

Later, Namah tells Mace to shut up as he berates himself for not being able to use his Power. At that moment, Cuddles hisses in Namah's arms. She then grabs Mace and covers his mouth as they look from the cover of some rocks to see Tinsel walking around with a lantern. Realizing she was there to kill them, Namah puts together a plan to distract her as she holds a power cord to Whip, asking him to tie a knot.

Minutes later, Namah and her friends hide as they watch Tinsel jump into a cave, where their power cord led up to. The distraction successful, they run off to find Lilith and Bast.

Eventually, they manage to find Lilith and Bast. Namah helps Lilith up while Lilith tries to apologize for bringing them down to the caves. As Namah helps Lilith walk while Mace drags Bast by a blanket, they continue on through the caves.

Sometime later, they reach the Lost Archives. Entering the tube depository, Lilith hesitated over touching the gathered knowledge, but Namah threatened to kick her if she didn't. As they looked around, Lilith determined the oldest scrolls were along the walls and wanted to be gentle with them, but Namah rolled one of the scrolls out and told her they had no time to be archaeologists. As Lilith went to work scanning the records with her data-scroll, Namah sat with Bast and talked to him about how they're able to use their Powers. Lilith declares she was done, so Namah told Whip he would carry them to the surface. She and the others then yelled "No" when Bast suggests they leave him behind. When Mace suggests they could hide from Tendril, Whip flies towards an eerie opening leading deeper into the Archives, which Namah declined. As Lilith voiced her concern, the approach of Tendril's poetry changed their minds.

Chapter 12[]

As the group moves through the Archives, Namah comments Whip on the timing of him losing his Power of flight. As they try to navigate the maze-like structure, Bast insists they hide him somewhere, but Namah promptly tells him off. They reach a dead-end room adorned by a spiked throne. Namah panics momentarliy when Mace sets off a noisy trap. They then hide behind the throne as Tendril appears in the only way out. Namah looks to Lilith for ideas, but she simply sat in fear. Namah watched as Mace ran out to confront Tendril. When Tendril threatened to take Mace's eyes, Namah climbed up the wall to a hole in the ceiling. Tendril releases Mace and goes straight for Namah.

Namah runs through the Archives as Tendril stays on her heels. Tendril rips down a chandelier and hits Namah in the back, stopping her. Namah shuts her eyes and braced for an attack, but opened her eyes to see Tendril gone and a Troika rescue team walking in, led by Viriathus. As Vi attempts to identify Namah, she tries to warn them of Tendril, who reaches down and hits Vi. Namah watches as the squad engaged Tendril as he tries to overwhelm Vi. Vi throws a sparker at Tendril, but he opens a hole in his body, allowing the sparker fly across the room and land at Namah's feet. Instinctively, Namah picks it up and throws it back at him. She yells out a warning as the sparker detonates, blasting Tendril to pieces. As the Troika regroup, Namah prepares to run away, but Bobby assures her they were sent by Igrath to rescue her and her friends.

Sometime later, Whip leads Namah and the Troika to a hole in the wall leading outside of the Archives. As the Troika knocked out Tinsel, Namah slides down a ridge to check on Lilith and Bast. As Tendril arrives, Namah helps her sister up a pile of rubble as Vi orders the group to fall back into a nearby cave.

In the cave, Namah uses one of their duffel bags as a shield as Tendril prepared to overwhelm the group. Suddenly, Igrath appears from a jumper with a rail cannon and orders the group to grab the jumper. After Igrath and Vi succeed in driving Tendril back, they join the others and are all teleported to Troika headquarters.

Igrath embraced his nieces while Namah told him to pick either love or assumptions. As Igrath put them down, Namah then spots her three childhood guards approaching them. Namah would follow Lilith, Igrath and Nainso to the med station as Lilith spots Kalei emerging from inside.

Later that evening, Namah stands with her arms crossed before the three guards, who clumsily try to explain why they were there. That night, Namah sleeps with Lilith and Cuddles in a bunk bed with their uncle and friends close by.

Volume 5[]

Chapter 13[]

Sometime later in the med station, Namah checks on Lilith with Tia and Karo after Lilith overstrained her Power use while attempting to heal Bast. Namah suggests using some of their allies to safely drain their life force to help her recover, which Tia agreed with, but Lilith defiantly refused to harm anyone with her Power. Namah tried to push the issue but Tia interrupted her. Moments later, Namah followed Bast when he suddenly stormed out of the med station.

She would follow Bast up to a nearby turret emplacement and watched as Bast summoned his Power and smashed an ammo box, which she found "hot". As Namah explained to Bast about her sister's stubbornness, she tried speaking to Kalei, who was training with a rifle on the firing range down below. Namah would attempt calm Bast down when he threatens to go find Mace but after dropping an embarassing comment about making out, she runs off to find Mace herself.

Shortly after, she would find Whip burrowing into one of the Indigos' breasts while they practiced a dance routine. Showing disapproval, she grabs him by the tail and takes him to a nearby gun lockup. She expresses her concern over Mace and his claims of "chosen" divinity, which Whip agrees with a skeptical look. Despite this, however, Namah shows frustration as Whip flies away after giving a reply she couldn't understand.

Power and Abilities[]

Ether Tendrils: Having first awoken during an encounter with Tinsel in volume 1, Namah's Power involves the manifestation of ethereal tendrils that can extend expansive lengths which can be used as a means of attacking, thus its typing being classified as being an energy discharge within a close vicinity. During the events of Volume 4 she was able to figure out that during moments of danger she is able to activate her Power, as when Lilith was struck by one of Tendril's attacks she was able to respond by attacking him with her tendrils.

Adhesive Grip: Because of Namah's natural form, she has shown the ability to cling to various surfaces, be it solid or fabric. However if her hands and feet are wet, she is less likely to stick for long which can cause her to fall. She's mostly used it as a child, but early on in the main story she has demonstrated the ability to sneak by guards with ease.

Night-Vision: Namah's eyes appear to emit a green glow, even in low-lighted areas; for as she continually likes using the air vents to navigate through the floor she lives on, it can be assumed that she is very capable of seeing in the dark.

Hand-to-hand Combatant: Namah has shown some skill in melee combat, mostly as a means to defend herself as even against Dark Dreamkeepers like Tinsel or Wisp, she was able to fend them off while trying to fight back.

Great Power Intensity: Due to how potent her Power was at activation, given how she was able to effectively use it while her halo was barely present, her rating is currently at 3. This puts her potential on par with Tinsel, who while marked at a questionable 2 it's evident that her overall capabilities are higher.

Proficient Stealth Skills: Having started from childhood, as she got older Namah has developed the skill to sneak past unsuspecting individuals without detection thanks to her ability to cling to most surfaces and see even in the dark. She is able to avoid detection from various Tower Guards by hiding in high places just to accommodate herself and her pet, "Vincent", and was only noticed making a sound by Tinsel and Ravat.
