The Wayward Astronomer (Chapter 9)
Jonny Riggazoni, or just Jonny for short, is a friend and former colleague of Halcyon Adhil who works for an organized crime family in Calypsa District. He is a supporting character sympathetic to the protagonists in The Wayward Astronomer.
Jonny resembles a Zebra with equine features, a black and white stripe pattern and blue eyes. His mane and the end of his tail is dyed with a rainbow color pattern that ranges from red to indigo and back to red again. He is depicted in promotional artwork by David Lillie as wearing a brown collared shirt with a formal vest over the top.
Jonny is outgoing and gregarious with a light-hearted personality. He often will make jokes about serious situations, even when there is considerable danger involved. He is trustworthy and capable, not afraid to offer aid or take risks to assist his friends.
This will be converted into the history section sometime after the novel's release
Jonny is a gangster that runs an illegal gambling racket from the basement of a brothel in Calypsa District called "The Passion Lounge". It is implied that he may also have other responsibilities within the crime family, such as managing and laundering illicit funds, and smuggling weapons.
As currently The Wayward Astronomer has yet to be published and is currently being funded the information will be limited during and after funding to avoid any major spoilers out of respect to the author.
Springer: As part of a crime syndicate that specializes in smuggling weapons, Jonny carries around a Springer that he can use for any situation. Based off the promotional art for the novel, he may have proficient skill with it.
